My research began with a curiosity about interactive experiences, leading me to experiment across software, hardware, games, and AI. This curiosity gradually pulled me from engineering into HCI, shifting my focus from building interactive systems to understanding how they could meaningfully support people.

Two ideas slowly came into focus along the way: Immersion and Adaptivity—how an experience draws people in, and how a system responds to their needs. These interests led me toward XR, multimodal interaction, and AI-powered systems. Across these explorations, one thread kept recurring: how interactive technologies shape the ways people perceive, explore, and make sense of the world. Understanding and supporting human cognitive processes gradually became a central focus of my work, with Learning and Tutoring emerging as important contexts in which to explore these questions.

These seven themes summarize the main threads across my research, projects, and coursework, reflecting how my interests have evolved across different contexts, methods, and technologies.
